  • U.S. Secretary of War Peter B. Hegseth reportedly gave a verbal kill-all order for the passengers of an alleged drug boat sailing off the coast of Venezuela on Sept. 1, 2025. To comply with the order, a second strike was launched to murder two survivors reportedly clinging to the ship's wreckage. The Washington Post has reported that "an order to kill all the boat’s occupants" when "they were no longer able to fight" “would in essence be an order to show no quarter, which would be a war crime."
