Rising rates of New York State correctional officers' brutality on prisoners : New York Times investigation

NEW YORK, November 24 (C'est Vrai) — The incidence of brutality and abuse by New York State's correctional officers on prisoners is increasing, and becoming more dangerous. A special investigation by the New York Times has revealed a pattern of rising use of force by prison guards and staff, resulting in a spike under the administration of Gov. Kathy Hochul (D-N.Y.).
