Trump invokes the war on drugs on Venezuela, but not on Honduras : NYTimes

President Donald J. Trump (R) was caught in a duplicitous trap of his own making after claiming he was seeking to hold cartels accountable. Trump was stepping up his threats against Venezuela for allegedly fostering drug cartels at the same time Trump was telegraphing a possible pardon of a former Honduran president, who was convicted of drug trafficking charges. The hypocrisy was described as "dissonance" by the New York Times.
