Louvre Museum workers vote to begin strike, upending holiday tourism at the Paris landmark

Multiple unions began a worker strike, hundreds-strong, at the Louvre over working conditions following a shocking, daylight heist. The work action led to the museum's closure on Monday. The Louvre is typically closed on Tuesdays. Another union meeting is set to take place on Wednesday. Employees blame management and the Government over a "deterioration" of working conditions, including safety and physical condition standards at the former royal palace.
