Three Americans killed in Syria in what Trump called "an ISIS attack"

Two U.S. soldiers and a U.S. civilian interpreter were reportedly killed, and three servicemembers were injuried, in an ambush by a "lone ISIS gunman," the U.S. military said. The gunman was "engaged and killed." The Pentagon is investigating. In response to the attack, President Donald J. Trump (R) has threatened retaliation.
