Trump administration proposes new rules to end gender-affirming care for minors amidst on-going pressures

Hospitals providing gender-related care to minors would lose Federal funding, according to new rules proposed by the Trump administration on Thursday. The move, long expected, followed the House passage of a bill sponsored by out-going U.S. Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga. 14) that would charge healthcare providers and parents with felonies if they provide, consent to, or transport minors with gender-affirming care.
