Luigi Mangione's defense team builds case to exclude evidence, allege bias in prosecution

NEW YORK, December 21 (C'est Vrai) — During hearings and in filings, the legal team of Luigi Mangione are building their defense case, and it centers on errors and bias. Mangione is charged with State and Federal crimes in connection with the 2024 alleged homicide of United Healthcare CEO Brian Thompson. Since Federal prosecutors are seeking the death penalty in a case where there is controversy over the admissibility of evidence, Mangione's legal team are fighting over penalties months before the start of trial.
