NEW YORK, November 6 (C'est Vrai) — The Federal Aviation Administration is ordering cutbacks to flights at the Nation's busiest airports, including in the New York City metro area, in response to ongoing air traffic safety concerns due to the U.S. Government shutdown. According to the New York Times, "nearly 80 percent of air traffic controllers were absent" in the New York area on a recent Friday, citing F.A.A. data.
