Wary of Zohran Mamdani's inflammatory rhetoric, Jews face vandalism and reports of rising antisemitism
NEW YORK, November 7 (C'est Vrai) — The Jewish community in New York awoke the day after the November election to instances of antisemitic vandalism across Brooklyn. One the same day, the Jewish commissioner of the FDNY retired, invoking concerns over Mayor-elect Zohran K. Mamdani's "anti-Israel hostility," according to the New York Post. In response to growing unease, the Anti-Defamation League established a tip line to accept reports of antisemitism related to his administration.
