Democrats in the U.S. House released on Wednesday selected Epstein-related documents that reportedly showed that President Donald Trump (R) knew more about the affairs of Jeffrey Epstein than the president has admitted. Immediately following, House Republicans made a document dump of approx. 20,000 pages of records received from the estate of the late financier. In response, Trump described the release as a distraction, a hoax, and a smear.
