Litigation over the firing of Maurene Comey reveals the chaos inside Trump's Justice Department

Various attorneys' offices and divisions inside the U.S Department of Justice have declined to represent the Government against a lawsuit filed by former SDNY Assistant U.S. Attorney Maurene Comey seeking her job back. From reports, the political hot potato bounced between Manhattan, Brooklyn, and Washington before landing in Albany.
