Top Manhattan Federal prosecutor on the spot after Trump demands DOJ investigate Democrats' ties to Jeffrey Epstein

NEW YORK, November 15 (C'est Vrai) — U.S. Attorney Walter J. Clayton III is under the spotlight following a demand by President Donald J. Trump (R) that the Justice Department investigate Jeffrey Epstein's ties to top Democratic Party officials and donors. The Manhattan Federal prosecutors' office, now headed by Clayton, was previously tasked with investigating Epstein and his co-conspirator, Ghislaine Maxwell. Past efforts by Trump to politicise the work of Clayton's office has resulted in resignations and firings.
